Job summary

Christ-the-King-Manor in Clearfield County seeks a compassionate Medication Technician for the night shift to assist with medications and daily living activities. You will ensure residents receive proper medication administration and provide respectful, safe care.

Qualifications

Our warm and welcoming Personal Care Home is looking for a Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our Night Shift care team!As a Med Tech, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality care. You’ll be responsible for safely assisting with daily living activities, medications and supporting residents with kindness and respect.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance according to health care provider's ordersEducate and supervise resident who self-administer medication such as subcutaneous and oral.Maintain awareness of medication interactions and side effectsMonitor health, safety, and well -being of the residents. Report any changes in resident's physical condition and/or behavior to Administrator.Maintain resident records regarding medication distributions, leisure activities, incidents, and observations.Properly store medication and equipment and keeps the medication room clean and orderly.Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and eating.Encourage and/or remind residents to participate in activities.
