VorTek Systems is seeking a reliable, hands-on Break-Fix PC Technician in Nashville, TN. You will focus on diagnosing and repairing physical hardware issues in a straightforward, hardware-focused work environment.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1 year of professional break-fix hardware repair experience, strong familiarity with OEM layouts, and the ability to manage repair tickets efficiently. A competitive pay structure is offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in PC break-fix hardware repair.
• Strong familiarity with major OEM hardware layouts (e.g., Dell, Lenovo, HP).
• CompTIA A+ or OEM certifications (Dell/Lenovo) are a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and reliable transportation if travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair physical hardware issues on PCs, laptops, and workstations.
• Perform component-level replacements including motherboards, LCD screens, and more.
• Manage a daily queue of repair tickets efficiently.
• Ensure high-quality repair standards.
• Document repair notes and manage parts return processes.
