TEKsystems is seeking IT Technicians for on-site support in Cleveland, OH, to upgrade hardware and deploy Windows 11 for a large healthcare system. The role is first shift and contract-to-hire, with benefits described below.

Candidates should be capable of diagnosing and resolving software/hardware issues, deploying new devices, and providing excellent customer service to end users. Prior CompTIA certifications are desirable.

• Swap laptops/desktops and deploy Windows 11 devices.
• Assist users with IT-related incidents when called upon.
• Take ownership of issues, perform analysis, and implement fixes to restore service quickly.
• Record, update, and document requests in the IT service desk system.
• Install and configure new IT equipment.
• Resolve incidents and upgrade software/hardware as needed.
• Troubleshoot printers, copiers, and scanners to restore functionality.

Job Description

Our client a large Healthcare System throughout the Cleveland Area has a multiple openings to support a project to upgrade their technology. This will be replacing old PC's and upgrading to new devices in Windows 11. We are looking for IT Technicians that can work 1st shift on-site.

Skills

• To diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac) and across a range of software applications
• Swapping out laptops/desktops and deploying Windows 11
• To assist all our users with any logged IT related incident when called upon
• To take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary
• To accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system
• To install and configure new IT equipment
• To resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware
• To resolve incidents with printers, copiers, and scanners
• To maintain a first-class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
