A leading company in technology is seeking a PCB Designer to evaluate and implement design processes for their core technologies. The role involves conducting feasibility studies, assisting designers, and maintaining coordination with various engineering teams to ensure high-quality PCB designs. Candidates should have experience in PCB design and familiarity with industry-standard software tools. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Studying PCB design trends and processes, then evaluating and implementing those processes that apply to Apple’s core technologies. Conducting design feasibility studies to evaluate PCB design goals related to packaging, cost, manufacturing, and system performance.
Assisting PCB Designers in resolving critical design problems. Training PCB Designers in specialized areas of PCB design. Developing an understanding of Apple’s design standards for manufacturing and testing.
Understanding the requirements for quality design and striving to meet these requirements before product release. Keeping abreast of PCB technology and process trends and applying them to Apple’s designs.
Under the mentorship of seasoned Designers, performing complex CAD and CAE tasks requiring extensive skill and knowledge of equipment capabilities, application techniques, and design limitations.
Maintaining technical coordination with Engineering, Product Design, Test, EMC Engineering, and Manufacturing. Resolving PCB design issues with fabrication and manufacturing vendors. Participating in the evolution of Apple’s Design for Manufacturing (DFM) guidelines.
Engaging in discussions regarding PCB design specifications and standards concerning product design, electrical design, manufacturing, and regulatory requirements to balance trade-offs for optimal design goals, high-quality PCBs, cost-efficiency, and schedule adherence.
At Apple, base pay is part of a comprehensive compensation package, determined within a range based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The salary range for this role is $136,300 to $248,700.
Employees may participate in stock programs, including stock awards and purchase plans, and receive benefits such as medical/dental coverage, retirement plans, discounts, and educational reimbursements. This role may also be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or relocation assistance.
