Responsibilities

The PBX Operator / Receptionist answers the switchboard, pages overhead, greets and directs visitors to the appropriate departments. Monitors hospital alarms and must be familiar with all emergency codes and hospital policies. Effective communication with the population served is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Previous PBX experience preferred.
• Experience in an office or receptionist role preferred.
• Effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize needs to meet deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
