Responsibilities

The PBX Operator / Receptionist is responsible for answering the switchboard, paging overhead, greeting, and directing visitors to the appropriate departments. The operator monitors hospital alarms and must be familiar with all hospital emergency codes. Effective communication with the population served is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Previous PBX experience preferred.
• Experience in office or receptionist roles.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
