AdventHealth is seeking a courteous and capable call center associate for night shifts in Rome, GA. You will manage after-hours communications, maintain records, and relay information efficiently to departments and staff. A strong customer service background and English proficiency are essential.

Responsibilities include handling calls, updating on-call lists, and supporting disaster code communications while maintaining a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires proficient English, clear communication, and customer service experience.
• Experience handling high-volume calls preferred.
• Must be detail oriented with accurate data entry and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls promptly and route to proper departments.
• Maintain a log of activities, requests, and issues.
• Learn and apply hospital disaster codes as required.
• Provide courteous, professional interactions with patients and staff.
• Support after-hours needs as needed.
• Assist with overhead announcements and call forwarding as required.

Job Description

• Contacts key personnel after hours as needed.
• Maintains an operational call log of all activities, requests, and issues.
• Cultivates accurate knowledge of hospital disaster codes and announces them efficiently according to procedure.
• Projects a positive and helpful demeanor while working with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintains a courteous and professional manner when answering calls.
• Demonstrates skill and proficiency when executing overhead announcements.
• Forwards calls promptly to proper departments, patient rooms, or staff as necessary.
• Understands and responds to all codes and alarm systems.
• Updates and maintains all on call lists for staff when notified of changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic understanding of numerous computer systems.

Education

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience

• 1+ years’ experience handling high-volume telephone or customer service interactions in a fast-paced environment [Required]
• 1+ years’ experience in switchboard operations. [Preferred]

Pay Range

$14.44 - $21.66
