Proposal Strategist / Proposal Writer (Remote)

We are currently seeking a Proposal Strategist/Writer. This is a fully remote/work from home position.

Role and Responsibilities

• The Proposal Strategist/Writer manages high complexity weighted proposals. Works closely with leadership to create customized responses to RFx documents that differentiate Liviniti in the market, developing strategic content tailored to client needs.
• Creates new proposal text by consulting with subject matter experts or referencing documents.
• Edits proposal language to ensure compliance and incorporates strategic win themes.
• Performs compliance review and quality checks of drafts and final proposals.
• Develops a proposal calendar and project plan to ensure timely submissions.
• Provides proposal health updates to leadership, ensuring milestones are met.
• Coordinates and participates in color team reviews for compliance and client needs.
• Uses proposal management tools for stakeholder engagement.
• Analyzes documentation to understand customer requirements and complex issues within the PBM industry.
• Formats responses according to Liviniti's brand standards.
• Participates in kick-off meetings and facilitates discussions on concerns.
• Reviews and edits content, coordinating with leaders for accuracy.
• Submits proposals by deadlines, developing risk mitigation plans as needed.
• Adheres to HIPAA obligations related to PHI and completes required training.

Required Skills And Competencies

• PBM or health plan proposal writing experience.
• Strong organizational, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks remotely.
• Ability to analyze documentation and translate into compelling language.
• Adaptability to new technological tools, including proposal management software and SharePoint Online.

Position Details

• Full-time, Salaried, Exempt.
• Core hours 8:00AM to 5:00PM CT, with flexibility for meetings across time zones.
• Some extended hours, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Travel

Minimal to no travel expected for this remote role.

Required Education and Experience

• 4+ years of proposal writing in PBM, healthcare, or managed care.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Preferred Education and Experience

• MBA preferred.
