Southbridge Public Schools is seeking a PBIS Tier 1 Coach for West Street School in Southbridge, MA. The role focuses on district-wide PBIS implementation, training staff across all tiers, data management, and ongoing coaching of school-based PBIS teams.

The position emphasizes collaboration among teachers, administrators, and support staff; requires a Bachelor's degree and experience with PBIS and data-driven decision making. Stipend provided; evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of PBIS across universal, secondary and tertiary tiers.
• Experience planning and conducting professional development / training.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong project organization.
• Ability to work collaboratively and gain consensus for implementation.
• Experience in data-based decision making.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with teachers, parents, admins and staff.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate district-wide PBIS sustainability and expansion.
• Provide and/or facilitate training at universal, secondary and tertiary PBIS tiers.
• Recruit and support district PBIS Coaches.
• Oversee school-level data collection, management and analysis.
• Coach staff in using school-wide data collection systems.
• Support staff using secondary tier data systems.
• Collect and monitor behavioral data to analyze climate trends.
• Participate in regional, statewide and national PBIS leadership conferences and meetings.
• Ongoing coaching of school-based PBIS teams.
• Attend monthly coaches meetings outside of school hours.
• Attend all coaches and team trainings throughout the school year.
