JSM Airport Services, LLC is seeking a highly motivated PBB Jr. Technician for Jacksonville International Airport (JAX). This entry-level position offers a path to a long-term career with our company, with a commitment of at least 1 year.

The role involves maintenance of the airport's Passenger Boarding Bridges and providing electro-mechanical support. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues under supervision, and ensuring safety with PPE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must possess at least 1+ year of mechanical work experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret repair manuals and basic mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on PBB equipment, including cleaning and debris removal.
• Diagnose equipment failures under guidance from senior staff.
• Make minor adjustments to ensure system functionality and reliability (electrical and mechanical).
• Use hand tools safely and follow PPE requirements.
• Complete safety and compliance training as required.
• Perform other duties to support operations and customers.

JSM Airport Services, LLC is seeking a highly motivatedPBB Jr. Technician at Jacksonville International Airport (JAX). This is a career-track opportunity, and we are looking for an individual ready to commit to a long-term professional future with our company, with an expected commitment of at least 1 year. The PBB Jr. Technician is an entry-level position with varied responsibilities, including, but not limited to, the maintenance of the airport's Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB). The primary function of this position is to provide electro-mechanical operational, preventative, and emergency maintenance support.

Compensation:

• Full-Time
• Weekly Pay
• Hourly Rate: Starting at $22.00 (Depending on Experience)

Work Schedule:

Must be able to work as scheduled (this is a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week operation). Holidays will be included if they fall on a scheduled workday. Shift assignments are based on the airport and company requirements, as well as a technician's strengths, skill set, and experience. Our technicians are expected to be flexible in terms of prospective shift assignments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks, which will include, but will not be limited to, cleaning of passenger boarding bridges and surrounding areas, as well as the removal of debris from between bridges
• Diagnose equipment failures under the guidance of senior staff
• Make minor adjustments to ensure system functionality and reliability pertaining to both electrical and mechanical items
• Work with a variety of tools/hand tools safely and properly, as well as utilize any/all appropriate safety and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Safety and compliance training as required
• Perform other reasonable ancillary duties to support the operation and our customer

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or General Educational Development (GED) required
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must possess at least 1(+) year of mechanical work experience
• Must be able to read and interpret repair manuals and basic mechanical schematics

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day
• Frequently lifting/moving items that may range in weight up-to 50 pounds, occasionally up-to 100 pounds
• Work safely in a variety of locations that may include moving equipment and electricity, as well as small spaces, high spaces, dirty spaces, and hot spaces
• Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Be aware of moving equipment, as well as areas where electricity is present
