Behavior Frontiers in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join a fast-paced healthcare team. You will consolidate bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt staff across 15+ states and manage corrections, reimbursements, and final paychecks.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, are proficient with MS Excel, Word and Outlook, and can handle deadlines with accuracy. This full-time role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 1 year of payroll and time & attendance experience preferred.
• Prior experience with HR/Payroll ERP, time-tracking systems preferred.
• Must be skilled in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate bi-weekly payroll file for 15+ states across exempt and non-exempt staff.
• Processing prior period timesheet corrections, adjustments, late submissions
• Update payroll file for terminated employees, prior period timesheet corrections, reimbursements, bonuses, etc
• Cross-check payroll file to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing
• Processing final paychecks for terminations
• Addressing stop payment, direct deposit return and other employee paycheck questions
• Assist with bi-weekly timesheet reports, 401k file submission and errors, etc
• Perform other payroll, financial or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time
• Maintain files as needed within the Payroll Department
• Other duties, as assigned
