The Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board is seeking a qualified Agency Payroll Coordinator & Timekeeper in Springfield, IL. You will handle payroll policy, timekeeping, and retirement system coordination under the Chief Fiscal Officer.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in business or public administration.
• At least one year of administrative experience in public or business organization or training program.
• Experience with timekeeping data and payroll systems as listed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly organized environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Agency Payroll and SERS Coordinator under the Chief Fiscal Officer.
• Act as Agency timekeeper for master timekeeping functions.
• Review and improve payroll and timekeeping procedures per regulations.
• Support onboarding/offboarding with payroll and timekeeping functions.
• Provide backup liaison duties with the Agency Procurement Officer.
