Calista Corporation, headquartered in Alaska, is seeking a Payroll Technician to process timesheets, deductions, and new hire paperwork, and to file confidential employee information. The role includes paying Federal and State payroll taxes and garnishments, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
The position supports Calista’s multi-business environment and requires basic accounting knowledge, payroll software experience, and the ability to manage sensitive data with discretion.
The Payroll Technician processes timesheets, payroll deductions, and new hire paperwork; pays State and Federal taxes, child support and garnishment deductions; and files confidential employee information.
This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
The payroll is a fast paced multi-tasking environment requiring regular attendance. Work may require occasional overtime.
