Nordic Calista is seeking an entry-level, on-call team member for drilling rig operations on the North Slope. The role requires physical strength, dexterity and stamina to load/unload materials, perform general maintenance and support the drilling floor crew.
Must follow Nordic HSE policies, work well with others, and respond quickly to directions. Previous related experience is preferred; on-the-job training is provided.
This is an entry-level position with Nordic Calista rigs. This position requires physical strength, dexterity, and stamina to successfully complete the duties, which include proper loading and unloading materials, general maintenance, and provide vital support for the drilling floor crew. Must be able to get along well with others and respond quickly to directions. Must follow company rules established for safety and employee welfare.
Inside enclosed oil rig and outside in elements. Hazardous conditions may include a wet, oily, icy steel floor, noise, steam.
