United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Payroll & Tax Team Leader to guide a high-performing support team responsible for payroll accuracy, tax compliance, and timely payments. You will coach staff, set performance goals, and drive scalable processes across multiple offices.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled workflows, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and NPS as the company supports hundreds of thousands of small businesses nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams of individual contributors.
• Deep understanding of customer experience, support metrics, best practices, and tools.
• Background in payroll and/or tax is desired.
• Proven ability to hire, coach, and retain top talent in a complex, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of customer advocates and manage their daily activities.
• Mentor team members through coaching, feedback, and development.
• Use scalable systems and metrics to monitor and improve customer experience and loyalty.
• Communicate company initiatives, OKRs, and growth metrics to the team.
