Job summary

Payentry is seeking a Payroll Tax Specialist to join our rapidly growing Tax and Compliance Team in Charlotte. You will use our software technologies to respond to clients' needs and support critical tax processes for payroll, delivering timely filings and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate has some experience with employment taxes, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in person, in writing, or over the phone.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, organization, and multitasking.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills through hands-on training.
• Experience with employment taxes is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office (Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Utilize our software technologies to respond to clients' needs.
• Handle business-critical processes and documentation for clients.
• Collaborate with tax team members to complete agency fillings during quarter and year end.
• Manage relationships with clients, external agencies, and internal partners.
• Research tax notices and coordinate with tax agencies to resolve tax disputes in a timely manner.
