Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Payroll Tax Analyst in Columbia, MD (Hybrid) to support all payroll tax activities and regulatory compliance across local, state, and federal levels. The role focuses on efficiency, accuracy, and timely reporting while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure proper tax treatment and system functionality.
The ideal candidate brings at least 4 years of payroll tax experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, ADP experience, and strong communication
Location: Columbia, Maryland (Hybrid)
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually + $5,000 Annual Bonus Potential
The Payroll Tax Analyst is responsible for supporting all payroll tax activities, including compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The Analyst will focus on regulatory compliance, system functionality compliance, increased efficiencies, and internal customers and regulatory agencies, including researching laws and regulations regarding taxes and payroll withholding procedures. The Payroll Tax Analyst is responsible to support the department.
