Job summary

OneSource Virtual is seeking a Transitions Tax Data Specialist to serve as the primary tax contact during the first quarter of the Tax Services rollout. You will manage cases, research payroll tax issues, coordinate resolutions, and ensure accurate tax data for a smooth customer onboarding.

The role leads customer meetings, reviews tax profiles, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to support successful transitions to Tax Services.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local payroll tax concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to analyze payroll tax data and support issue resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while producing accurate work.
• Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary tax contact for an assigned customer portfolio during the transition period.
• Manage customer cases, tasks, and inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
• Lead customer meetings and support payroll tax transition activities.
• Review and maintain tax profiles, setups, tax rates, and related customer data.
• Research and resolve payroll tax data, configuration, and reconciliation issues.
• Process profile update requests and maintain accurate records across tax systems.
• Partner with internal teams to support successful customer onboarding and transition to Tax Services.
• Recommend process, documentation, and knowledge resource improvements.
• Meet established quality, productivity, and customer service standards.
• Contribute to team initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
