Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in corporate payroll tax compliance and filing.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Hands-on experience managing multi-state payroll tax requirements.
• Practical experience with Workday Payroll.
• Experience with quarterly and annual tax reconciliations.
• Knowledge of Form 941, W-2/W-2c, and State Unemployment Insurance.
• Experience handling tax amendments, prior-period corrections, and tax agency notices.
• Strong Excel skills and reconciliation capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll tax compliance and filing across multiple states.
• Ensure accurate federal, state, and local payroll tax filings.
• Perform quarterly and annual payroll tax reconciliations.
• Support Form 941, W-2, and W-2c preparations and corrections.
• Manage SUI and other state payroll tax requirements.
• Research and resolve payroll tax discrepancies and prior-period corrections.
• Handle payroll tax amendments and adjustments.
• Respond to payroll tax notices with agencies.
• Support tax testing and validation in Workday Payroll.
• Collaborate with Payroll Operations, Accounting, HR, Stock/Equity, and external providers.
• Support quarter-end and year-end payroll tax processing.
