UKG is seeking a Product Pay & Tax Compliance Analyst to serve as a liaison to federal, state, provincial and local tax agencies, ensuring all new payroll tax changes are understood and implemented across UKG’s payroll and tax products.

You’ll need above-average knowledge of UKG's tax system, experience in tax compliance, and the ability to communicate complex requirements to internal teams and external stakeholders, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in tax compliance or a related field.
• Experience interpreting federal, state, provincial, or local tax regulations and requirements.
• Experience documenting and communicating tax requirements to internal or external stakeholders.
• Professional experience working with tax-related processes, systems, or software.

Responsabilités

• Use general payroll tax knowledge for payroll tax updates and regulations within your assigned jurisdictions/zones.
• Establish and maintain relationships with decision makers at tax agencies.
• Actively participate in industry-related meetings and subcommittees on behalf of the organization.
• Conduct comprehensive research with minimal guidance and maintain knowledge of payroll tax agency compliance requirements.
• Track changes to withholding forms (W-4, TD1) and year-end slips (W-2, T4) and update tax calculations and garnishment rules.
• Communicate complex compliance requirements to internal and external stakeholders clearly and accurately.
• Document payroll tax agency requirements to be used as a reference across UKG.
• Summarize identified changes for product and development teams to integrate into UKG's payroll/tax products.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure business practices are compliant with agency requirements.
• Negotiate outcomes with tax agencies aligned with UKG's objectives.
• Respond to JIRA escalations and research requests from internal teams.
