PAYROLL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

The Payroll Support Technician, in our Englewood, Coloradooffice bridges troubleshooting payroll errors, data integrations, and resolving complex processing issues.Implementing process improvements due to calculation errors and complex data transmissions.This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, analytical processing skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Implement payroll processing improvements
  • Payroll automation
  • Review and verify certified payroll for accuracy upon processing
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and respond to audit inquiries
  • Prepare and upload certified payroll reports
  • Maintain accurate and organized payroll records
  • Perform other administrative duties assigned
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and time management
  • Experience processing payroll and working with numbers and financial information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; specifically, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work in a team and independently
  • The physical activity required for this role includes:
    • Sitting for extended periods in an office environment
    • Frequently standing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing, bending and reaching
    • Manual dexterity for computer use, files and office equipment
    • Occasionally lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
