Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Payroll Tax Compliance Supervisor to oversee payroll tax compliance across states and entities, ensuring timely, accurate filings.

This role partners with ADP and other providers, reconciles tax data, monitors payments, researches issues, and stays current on tax laws to support mergers, acquisitions, and organizational changes.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of computerized payroll systems and related applications, both outsourced and in-house.
  • Ability to perform detailed analysis.
  • Several years of payroll tax administration experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Ability to analyze complex payroll tax issues, identify trends, and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency with payroll software and related tools, preferably ADP.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws in a multi-state, multi-location environment.
  • Prior experience supporting high-volume employers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee payroll tax compliance across multiple states and company entities, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time and that all payroll tax filings and deposits are completed correctly.
  • Work closely with ADP and other third-party providers, reconcile payroll tax data on a regular basis, monitor payroll tax payments, research and resolve tax-related issues, and manage the setup of new tax jurisdictions.
  • Ensure employee tax information is accurate, stay current on changing tax laws, provide recommendations to leadership, and support payroll tax initiatives related to mergers, acquisitions, and organizational changes.

2 rounds - FR this Thursday and Friday

Required Skills & Experience

  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) certification preferred
  • Familiarity with tax regulations related to foreign-national employees
  • Understanding of payroll tax compliance for domestic and international workforces
