Employee Benefits Fund is seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to lead and manage all payroll operations for our union-benefit programs in New York. The role demands strong supervision, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have extensive payroll processing experience, proficiency with ADP Workforce Now, and excellent communication skills to support employees and internal stakeholders. This position is based in New York, NY.

Qualifications

• 5+ years payroll processing experience.
• 3+ years in supervisory role.
• Associate's degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Payroll function.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in accordance to policies and regulations.
• Provides excellent customer service and develop solutions to payroll related issues.
• Works closely with payroll processor, 401(k) administrator, and workers' compensation and disability carriers.
• Interacts with employees at all levels regarding payroll related issues.
• Supervises the Paymaster and ensures daily workflow processes stay current.

Payroll Supervisor

Salary Range: $95,000.00 To $105,000.00 Annually

We here at The Funds manage and administer the benefits of thousands of Union members who work in the hotel industry within NYC. Our team is looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor who believes in our company's mission and is seeking to make a major contribution to our organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Payroll function
• Ensures timely and accurate Payroll processing in accordance to the organization's policies and federal, state, and local regulations
• Provides excellent customer service and develop solutions to payroll related issues
• Works closely with our Payroll processor, 401(K) administrator as well as the Workers' Compensation and disability carriers regarding a wide variety of issues.
• Interacts with employees at all levels regarding Payroll Related Issues
• Supervises the Paymaster and ensures that daily workflow processes stay current

Position Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years Payroll Processing Experience
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in supervisory role
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience - Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• Thorough understanding of ADP's Workforce now software, including Reports & Analytics
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong Supervisory and leadership skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and Oral Skills
