Job summary

Roseman University of Health Sciences is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate, on-time pay and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate biweekly processing, review timekeeping data, and resolve discrepancies across multiple states.

You’ll collaborate with HR, Finance, and external partners, using Workday and payroll systems. This role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and exceptional service to employees and managers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in related field.
• Minimum two years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience reviewing, reconciling, and resolving payroll data; ability to protect confidential information.
• Familiarity with Workday strongly preferred; multi-state payroll experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate biweekly payroll processing and ensure accurate, timely pay.
• Review timecards, earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits; process corrections.
• Monitor deadlines, submissions, approvals, and exceptions; reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll requirements across multiple states.
• Support year-end activities, W-2 processing, and audits with proper documentation.
• Serve as a primary payroll resource for employees and managers; resolve inquiries.
• Utilize Workday and related tools to validate data and improve processes.
• Maintain payroll procedures and collaborate with HR, Finance, and partners to improve service.
