The role involves handling union benefits, researching inquiries, maintaining confidentiality, and producing timely manual checks as needed. You will collaborate with HR and unions to support accurate payments and audits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of payroll experience.
• Experience with union benefits preferred.
• Strong customer service (verbal and written) skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, including lookups and pivots.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume payrolls accurately and on schedule.
• Manage bonuses, special payments, and fringe benefits.
• Respond to payroll inquiries with excellent service.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll data.
• Assist with manual checks as required.
• Handle union benefits emails and inquiries promptly.
• Track unions, contracts, rates, and payments for audits.
• Coordinate with HR and unions as primary liaison for payroll questions.
