Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northern New England is seeking a Payroll Clerk in Gorham, ME to process and record payroll timely and accurately. You will respond to inquiries, provide procedural instruction on payroll and timekeeping, and ensure confidentiality in all payroll matters.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, and familiarity with payroll systems. Experience with UKG or similar systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality related to payroll and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Enters and processes employee time, payroll adjustments, garnishments and pay cards.
• Processes payroll transactions accurately and timely.
• Maintains Agency payroll information in HRIS database and prepares reporting for employees, managers and vendors.
