Fireside in Washington state is seeking a Payroll Specialist to review, verify, process, and submit weekly payroll and daily certified payroll; audit entries in SAP; input vacation and sick hours; and run payroll reports for managers and VPs. This role requires strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience processing payroll.
• Experience in certified payroll in a construction environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, process, and submit weekly payroll and daily certified payroll.
• Audit payroll entries for accuracy in SAP.
• Manually input vacation and sick hours into payroll system as needed.
• Enter and process terminations in payroll system.
• Run a variety of payroll reports for managers and VPs as requested.
• Manage and respond to general inquiries in the payroll email inbox.
• Resolve discrepancies with payroll as needed.
• Ensure that confidentiality and security of all information is maintained.
• Other duties may be assigned.
