Arketa is hiring its first Payroll Specialist to build payroll onboarding and support at the ground floor of a new product area. You will work across onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support to help customers adopt payroll in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting payroll, HR, accounting, or SaaS customers.
• Experience with payroll software such as Gusto, Paychex, ADP, Rippling, Homebase, QuickBooks Payroll or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of payroll fundamentals: employee setup, payroll schedules, taxes, deductions, and year-end forms.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through Arketa Payroll onboarding and setup.
• Help customers collect and enter payroll, tax, banking, and employee information.
• Support customers migrating from another payroll provider and ensure first payroll readiness.
• Answer payroll-related questions via email, chat, and video calls; own issues from start to finish.
