Job summary

Street Legal Industries, LLC. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Corporate Office in Oak Ridge, TN. This 100% on-site role oversees the entire payroll process, timekeeping, and labor management, ensuring accurate and timely pay while controlling labor costs.

You will review hours, overtime, PTO, bonuses, and deductions, maintain records, and collaborate with management on payroll issues. U.S. citizenship is required for government contracting work.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll and timekeeping processes.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Experience with payroll audits and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and with management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete payroll process from timekeeping through final payroll submission.
• Review and verify employee hours, overtime, PTO, holiday pay, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll adjustments.
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and according to established deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Coordinate with management and employees regarding payroll questions or concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information.
• Assist with payroll-related audits, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Review and approve timecard corrections in accordance with company policies.
