Job summary

Street Legal is seeking a Payroll Specialist for our Corporate Office in Oak Ridge, TN. The role is 100% on-site, reporting to the Vice President, with primary responsibility for end-to-end payroll processing and labor management.

You will ensure timely, accurate payroll, manage timekeeping, and handle payroll compliance in a government-contract environment. The position requires a High School Diploma and 3–5 years of relevant experience, plus strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of payroll, labor management, or related experience.
• Oversee payroll from timekeeping through final payroll submission.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete payroll process from timekeeping through final payroll submission.
• Review and verify employee hours, overtime, PTO, holiday pay, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll adjustments.
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and according to established deadlines.
• Coordinate with management and employees regarding payroll questions or concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information.
• Assist with payroll-related audits, reporting, and recordkeeping.
