Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, wage and hour regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience processing high-volume and/or multi-state payroll.
• Proficiency with payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, UKG, Workday, or Paylocity.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll for employees.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data.
• Process new hires, terminations, wage changes, and employee deductions.
• Review and audit timekeeping records for accuracy.
• Administer payroll taxes, garnishments, levies, and benefit deductions.
• Reconcile payroll-related accounts and prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with year-end processing, including W-2s and payroll audits.
• Collaborate with Human Resources and Accounting departments as needed.
