Bethesda Associates dba Elevation Senior Services is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll for 1,000+ employees in a faith-based nonprofit setting. The role emphasizes confidentiality, compliance with wage and hour laws, and collaboration with a dedicated team.

The position requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in Paycom and Microsoft Office, and at least 1 year of payroll experience.

Qualifications

• Federal and state payroll laws and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years’ payroll experience; Paycom a plus; multi-state payroll experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate payroll data to ensure accurate salaries, deductions, and bonuses.
• Enter and reconcile payroll data for new hires, terminations, and promotions.
• Generate payroll reports for management and accounting; respond to payroll inquiries.
