• Experience in payroll processing and governmental fiscal procedures (preferred).
• Proficient in eFinancePlus (preferred) or State Software.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Google Workspace and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to collaborate with others while maintaining confidentiality.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Successful completion of BCI and FBI background checks.
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet periods of peak demand.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Treasurer in all phases of school accounting procedures including but not limited to: Payroll, Accounts Payable/Receivable, bank reconciliations, daily banking and reporting.
• Prepare accurate semi-monthly payroll for the district.
• Complete all necessary tax reporting as well as all required monthly, quarterly and annual payroll reports.
• Liaison between staff and third-party administrator of insurance and annuity programs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
