Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in payroll, preferably in an outsourcing environment.
  • Good understanding of the whole payroll processing is a plus.
  • Self-starter capable of taking initiative and working with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full cycle payroll processing including calculations and reconciliations.
  • Monitor the processing checklist and maintain documentation for client payroll.
  • Execute payroll processing and validate reports before client verification.

About the opportunity

This role will be part of our client delivery team in Philippines, providing payroll processing and support to our HR outsourcing clients.

Involved in the full cycle of payroll processing such as undertaking payroll calculation, performing payroll reconciliation, preparing payroll accounting, general ledger and reports, etc. Other responsibilities include monitoring the processing checklist and calendars, maintaining precise documentation, providing data / report for respective statutory filing within the stipulated deadlines

What you’ll get to do

  • Examine client(s)’s payroll advice for completeness and clarify with client(s) if in doubt and upload data in system for processing.
  • Execute Payroll Processing and Validate payroll reports against payroll advice and client’s checklist before sending over to client for verification.
  • Process final pay of terminated employees and provide final pay package reports to client.
  • Provide information for client/employee query(s) within the stipulated timeframe as indicated in the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Process client’s Statutory Benefits in a timely manner.
  • Perform the annual year-end tax closure and reporting. Generate Forms 2316/2306 for client’s employees and provide resolution to any related queries.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation for all relevant documents (payroll advice, reports and correspondences) pertaining to client(s) payroll with reference to annual audit.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedure documentation for client(s).
  • To provide data on client’s monthly report and advice Finance on headcount no. for timely billing.
  • Participate in monthly dipstick assessment and trainings that may be required.

Skills and experience we value

  • College Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Accounting / taxation or related discipline
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in payroll (fresh grads welcome to apply), preferably in an outsourcing environment or have managed large employees’ payroll in a multi-national company
  • Good understanding on the whole payroll processing, statutory contribution and submission is a plus
  • Required skill(s): Excel, MS Outlook, Powerpoint
  • Required language(s): English, Filipino
  • Excellent team player
  • Client focused and customer sensitive service behaviour.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times with the ability to prioritize work when there are competing demands and urgent business needs.
  • Self-starter capable of taking initiative and working with minimal direction
  • Process and detail oriented. Able to multi-tasks
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
