Job summary

Asquith and Co accountants in Scarborough is recruiting a payroll professional to join a small team handling multiple clients. You will process payrolls weekly to monthly, manage starters and leavers, and ensure compliance with holiday pay and statutory payments.

You will also upload pension contributions, manage PAYE/CIS payments, and meet HMRC deadlines while delivering strong customer service over phone and email.

Qualifications

• Experience within payroll
• Experience in a payroll department or running payroll from start to finish
• Experience processing starters and leavers and calculating holiday pay
• Familiarity with pension contributions, PAYE, CIS and HMRC deadlines

Responsibilities

• Process weekly to monthly payrolls for multiple clients
• Process starters and leavers and update payroll records
• Calculate holiday pay and statutory payments
• Upload pension contributions to providers
• Process PAYE payments and CIS returns and meet HMRC deadlines
• Produce P60s and P45s as required
