Job summary

SoTalent in Warroad, MN, is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to deliver accurate and timely payroll for hourly and salaried employees supporting manufacturing operations. You will manage biweekly payroll processing, time and attendance validation, payroll records, deductions, bonuses, and tax compliance.

You will also help improve payroll processes, maintain HRIS data, and ensure regulatory compliance, acting as a resource for employees and managers while coordinating with Finance

Qualifications

• Previous experience in payroll administration, payroll processing, payroll accounting, or a related HR/Finance function.
• Experience processing payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.
• Strong Excel and payroll reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Validate timekeeping, attendance, hours worked, overtime, and inputs.
• Maintain HRIS records and payroll documentation.
• Calculate and process deductions, bonuses, premiums, and adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax and wage regulations.
• Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations for Finance and HR.
• Support payroll tax reporting, audits, and year-end activities.
