Job summary

Norm Reeves Auto Group in Cerritos, CA is seeking a Payroll Processor to manage payroll records, issue paychecks, and support all payroll activities across our dealership network.

The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of ADP and timekeeping systems, and the ability to explain pay and deductions to managers and staff.

You will work Monday through Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, with overtime during peak periods, and collaborate with HR on benefits, leaves, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ADP/CDK Payroll and Timekeeping Systems.
• Proficiency in processing payroll for multiple dealerships/locations.
• Familiarity with bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Knowledge of GL balancing and payroll-related GL entries.

Responsibilities

• Compiles payroll data from time sheets and records.
• Updates master payroll records for changes in exemptions, insurance, and compensation.
• Computes wages, deductions, and posts to payroll records.
• Prepares and issues paychecks and periodic earnings reports.
• Processes pay for PTO, vacation, and sick leave; maintains balance accuracy.
• Reconciles payroll-related government and tax reporting; assists HR with benefits and leaves.
• Collaborates with HR for employee changes and timekeeping inquiries.
• Assists with overtime during month-end close and peak periods.
