Job summary

Northwest Exterminating in Marietta, GA is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll for all teammates. You will partner with Human Resources to maintain data integrity, stay compliant with payroll regulations, and support audits.

Starting hourly rate $21–$24, local to Marietta, GA, with a focus on accuracy and customer service. Responsibilities include processing payroll, reviewing data, maintaining records, answering payroll inquiries, and supporting W-2 year-end

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll practices, taxes, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Review payroll data including hours worked, pay adjustments, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity within payroll and HR systems.
• Respond to teammates’ payroll questions with professionalism, empathy, and excellent customer service.
• Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and year-end processes, including W-2 preparation.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and enhance team member experience.
• Stay current on payroll laws and compliance requirements.
