Job summary

CFS in Oregon is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join a small, long-tenured accounting team. The role emphasizes hands-on payroll processing, accounts payable support, and independence in a hybrid work setting.

You will manage weekly payroll for union staff, coordinate direct deposits, enter invoices into Viewpoint Spectrum, and collaborate with the Controller. A minimum of 2 years payroll/AP experience is required, with union payroll experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll and AP experience.
• Experience processing payroll independently.
• Union payroll experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly union payroll for approximately 50 employees
• Manage direct deposits and weekly payroll processing
• Assist with Accounts Payable processing
• Enter invoices and payment information into Viewpoint Spectrum
• Coordinate weekly check runs and approval processes

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

Bonus: Discretionary

Schedule: Hybrid, Monday–Friday
