Job summary

DriveTime Family of Brands seeks a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for multiple companies across several states using Workday. You will run and audit payroll data, respond to questions, and resolve discrepancies while ensuring timely transmissions.

The role requires 3+ years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and Workday knowledge. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a hybrid work setup and opportunities for growth within a large, nationwide organization.

Job Overview

In short, as the Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for preparing and processing data for multiple companies in multiple states using WORKDAY payroll system. In long, the Payroll Specialist is responsible for:

Requirements

• 3+ years of payroll experience required.
• Payroll tax knowledge desired.
• Moderate to advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
• Basic knowledge of multi state payroll laws.
• Experience working in multiple systems in a high-volume environment.
• Must have experience with and demonstrate superb customer service with an emphasis on phone skills.
• Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of Workday Payroll experience.
