Job summary

Are you a seasoned payroll professional looking to join a great organization? Do you have at least five years of payroll experience and experience using Paycom software? We are looking for a payroll professional for a direct hire job opportunity in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive payroll experience, Paycom software experience, and be able to thrive in a team-oriented group.

Key Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on schedule using Paycom.
• Calculate wages, bonuses, overtime, and deductions in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Verify time and attendance records, resolve discrepancies, and handle payroll adjustments.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with tax laws and company policies.
• Prepare payroll-related reports, including reconciliations and tax filings.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and deductions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Payroll Accountant or similar role.
• Proficiency in Paycom software is required.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
