The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the team to improve payroll processes and reporting.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably multi-state.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar system.
  • Intermediate Excel and MS Office skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Process accurate and timely multi-state payroll while ensuring compliance with applicable payroll and tax regulations.
  • Maintain employee payroll records and support timekeeping processes in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Handle payroll adjustments, garnishments, tax documents, and other payroll-related transactions.
  • Prepare payroll reports, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end documentation.
  • Support new hire onboarding and other payroll-related HR activities.
  • Respond to employee questions and resolve payroll issues promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with payroll audits, reporting, administrative projects, and process improvements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and payroll information.

About The Role

What We're Looking For in a Payroll Specialist

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
