Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage confidential information professionally.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in transportation, towing, logistics, or multi-location operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify payroll data from timekeeping and scheduling systems.
• Handle garnishments, deductions, benefits, and direct deposit updates.
• Respond to employee payroll questions in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Prepare payroll-related reports for management as needed.
• Coordinate with HR regarding employee status changes, leaves, and terminations.
• Assist with year-end payroll processing including W-2 preparation and audits.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
• Support payroll audits and internal recordkeeping procedures.
