Job summary

Net2Source (N2S) is seeking a payroll specialist to support our distributed workforce. The role requires Workday experience and salary processing across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree should have 2-4 years of payroll and customer service experience; non-degree candidates need at least 5 years. The position offers a hybrid schedule with office attendance three days per week.

• Multi-state payroll experience is required.
• Must interpret payroll policies to resolve customer problems and requests.
• Provides customer service across a highly diversified organization with varying policies, pay practices, state regulations, union contracts, and taxing authorities.
• Proactively reviews customer data input for inaccuracies, system errors, duplication, and inconsistent trends.

Responsibilities

• Handle payroll processing with an emphasis on accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure employees’ pay is correct across multiple states.
• Interpret and apply payroll policies to resolve questions and issues.
• Provide customer service to employees and managers on payroll inquiries.
• Review data input for inconsistencies and system errors to maintain data integrity.
• Follow SOPs to perform duties with minimal supervision.

Job Description

• Workday experience required. Candidates with a bachelor's degree must have 2-4 years' progressive experience in payroll and customer service.
• If the candidate does not have a degree, they should have a minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in payroll and customer service.
• Candidate must have multi-state payroll experience. Requires intuitive and analytical thought processes to reach decisions with minimal supervision as it relates to standard operating procedures.
• Must be able to interpret payroll policies and procedures to proactively resolve customer problems and requests.
• Provides customer service across a highly diversified organization with significantly different business policies, pay practices, state regulations, union contracts, and taxing authorities.
• Proactively reviews customer data input for inaccuracies, system errors, duplication, and inconsistent trends.
• This involves expertise with payroll system along with a solid understanding of the businesses' payrolls being processed to ensure the accuracy of employees' pay.
