Job summary

LONG Building Technologies is seeking a detail-focused payroll professional to join the Accounting and Payroll team. You will process weekly, biweekly, and monthly payrolls, generate Certified Payroll Reports, and assist with monthly union filings, while handling payroll inquiries from internal/external customers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of office or administrative experience.
  • Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and accountability within a team.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; strong customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly, biweekly and monthly payroll, including timesheet collection, data entry and tax payments.
  • Audit timesheets and payroll inputs for accuracy across multiple systems.
  • Prepare weekly Certified Payroll Reporting and assist with monthly union filings.
  • Prepare journal entries in conjunction with payroll processing.
  • Serve as a point of contact for payroll inquiries from internal and external customers.

: $25 - $27.88 per hr. plus potential profit share.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability within a team environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to identify discrepancies, data entry errors, and inconsistencies of yourself and others, using various tools and methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively identify solutions.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and task prioritization skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations or other Accounting and ERP Software.
  • Experience with certified payroll reporting and union reporting.
