We are looking for a Payroll Specialist. This is a 3-month contract to hire opportunity based out of Irvine, CA (Hybrid).
This position is responsible for compiling and recording employee time and payroll data and processing semi-monthly transfers of correct payroll data to ADP. The Payroll Specialist supports the Payroll Manager in developing, enhancing, maintaining and executing HR/Payroll systems and activities for internal employees. These activities include, but are not limited to, administration of employees' payroll, personnel record management, safety coordination, training, auditing, creating and updating the Payroll Manual and special projects as assigned.

Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Bilingual in Spanish or is Japanese preferred but not required.
Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $26/hour to $28/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
