Job summary

CFS in Illinois is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for a large workforce in a manufacturing setting. You will ensure accurate processing for hourly and salaried staff, collaborate with HR and leadership, and help maintain compliance and tax reporting throughout the payroll cycle.

Ideal candidates bring multi-site experience, proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or UKG, and a track record of accurate reconciliation and year-end activities, while upholding confidentiality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or UKG.
• Experience processing payroll for 500+ employees.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Manage payroll compliance, tax reporting, and reconciliations.
• Administer payroll-related programs including benefits, 401(k), and PTO.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies in partnership with HR, managers, and vendors.
• Support year-end payroll processing and reporting.
