Job summary

Maxim is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure employees are paid accurately and on schedule. You will collect, review, and process weekly time records, following company policy and all payroll regulations.

Responsibilities include maintaining confidential records, managing timecards, updating systems, garnishments, and tax setup. 2+ years of payroll experience and strong Excel skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in payroll, accounting, or similar role with data entry responsibility.
• Experience with ADP Vantage and JD Edwards a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and payroll procedures, taxes, and compliance.

Purpose

Following company policy and adhering to Federal, State and Local laws/regulations, Payroll Specialists ensure employees' pay is processed timely and correctly. This role handles collecting, reviewing, and entering employees' hours each week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains confidential payroll records and files.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or GED
