Local CPA firm seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Payroll Specialist to provide payroll processing and bookkeeping support for multiple small business clients in a fast-paced public accounting environment.

** Responsibilities**

• Payroll processing and payroll reporting assistance


• Organizing financial records and client documents


• Assisting with monthly bookkeeping and accounting workflows


• Supporting tax preparation and client requests during tax season

** Qualifications**

• Payroll experience REQUIRED


• Bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred


• QuickBooks experience REQUIRED


• Strong organizational and multitasking skills


• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines


• Professional communication and attention to detail


• CPA firm or small business accounting experience is preferred


• Knowledge with bookkeeping and data entry a plus


• Knowledge with bank and credit card reconciliations a plus
