Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC in Portland, OR is seeking a Payroll Records Admin to join a collaborative payroll team supporting a large public-sector organization. You will process payroll actions, enter data into SAP for biweekly cycles, handle garnishments and deductions, and maintain confidential records while delivering

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of payroll or related administrative experience
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Customer service mindset with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive payroll information
• Someone who is accountable, receptive to feedback, asks questions when needed, and takes pride in producing accurate work
• Experience with SAP is a plus

Responsibilities

• Process payroll-related personnel actions and employee record updates
• Enter payroll data accurately into SAP during biweekly payroll processing
• Process wage garnishments and payroll deduction requests
• Perform payroll reconciliations and assist with payroll reporting
• Respond to email inquiries and provide excellent internal customer service
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee payroll records
• Support the payroll team with data entry and other administrative tasks as needed
